My plan is to think of my Substack has one long book, with a new chapter releasing for free every week. My free subscribers can read everything. Paid subscribers get weekly eBook files and audiobook versions, as well as "Side Quests," short stories that take place between the novels.
Since I'm writing a Sherlock Holmes series, I'm using content marketing to promote my work. Social media platforms will be fine for discovery, but the backbone of my publishing business is built on email. Hopefully it works out in 2026! My first novel starts serializing in March.

I can already think of a chatbot that will have all your books in memory and can answer every detail. Or an AI bot that gives mysteries to solve.
