I love this approach. Having spent years in tech, approaching something in a methodical way is so ingrained that I couldn't imagine tackling writing any other way. I started with the craft because I wanted to give the readers something that wouldn't waste their time. Now that I have done that, marketing and getting the book to readers is the next challenge. The people who have read my book love it. Should be a fun journey.

Donald Maass is a 'guru' in the writing world. He's published a number of books on writing. I've read this one a few times. Each chapter contains exercises, which I haven't done. I've assigned AI as the role of professor to teach me the skills in the book using Book 2 of my series as the guinea pig.
